Microsoft have unveiled their design for Windows 8. Although the next generation operating system is intended for use on a wider than ever array of devices, the new key visual multi-tasking features require a 1366 x 738 screen resolution. Below this resolution the operating system will not allow apps to dock alongside each other.
Furthermore the new gestures that will control Windows 8 require zero bevelling around the display area, as the user will need to perform inward flicks from the very edge of the screen.
The products listed below meet these requirements. Please bear in mind that Winodws 8 will still run on ALL devices currently running Windows 7 as Microsoft have asserted that Windows 8 will run on the same hardware footprint as its predecessor.
