The Sahara Slate i500 offers a choice of either Intel Celeron or Core i7 processors supporting up to 8GB RAM for users who demand desktop performance and mobility combined.  Featuring a sunlight enhanced outdoor readable display and dual-mode touch screen that intelligently switches between touch and the Wacom active digitizer for pen.  You can also choose between resistive or capacitive touch to suit your needs.  The Sahara Slate i500 comes with dual hot-swappable batteries.

 

Optional Docking Cradle adds 4x USB 2.0 ports, 1x IEEE1394a port, 1x 15-pin D-Sub connector (VGA), 1x RJ45 jack for 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN, 1x DC-In with power pass-through.
