When comparing computers there have always been two measures that people use to quantify how good the performance of a device will be: the CPU and the RAM, or memory. These days computing power on even the most entry-level systems is often suffice for most business needs. However, if you do require higher performance or simply if you are interested to see a comparison between CPUs then read on. While RAM is a simple number to compare from system to system, a CPU is a little tricky to compare by model number or even speed.
Fortunately there are ways of scoring a CPU's performance which we have shown in the charts below. The first chart compares 10 mobile CPUs designed for tablets and netbooks. The second chart shows all the CPUs available in systems we sell which includes the same 10 mobile CPUs plus two higher power CPUs; a Celeron and Core i7.
For your convenience the CPU names are hyperlinked to available products.

As you can see there are a number of CPUs with very similar performance, so what differentiates them and why should you pick one over another? |
