This tablet takes an interesting modular approach to its features.  As well as the integrated battery there is an optional external battery that slots in to the rear of the device for over 10 hours of operating time, more then enough for a full days work.

 

Again the modular design approach can be seen with a bespoke USB connection at the top of the device where an external MSR (magnetic stripe reader for credit cards etc) can be fitted.  Other options for this port are a GPS module and a barcode scanner, allowing this rugged device to be transformed for use 1 of these 3 flavours - card processing, barcode scanning, GPS/mapping.
