A much anticipated evolution of our popular WinPad Pro, this device is equipped with a N455 Atom @ 1.6GHz and DDR3 RAM resulting in an exceptional 5 hours operating time from the 3200mAh battery.
The Winpad Pro 2 is a semi-rugged tablet with a long-life resistive 2-point touch screen. Excellent connectivity is provided with 2 USB, headphone, RJ45 LAN and 15-pin VGA output for instant connection to external displays and projectors. Wireless connectivity is also very flexible with in-built WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G for which we utilize a quad-band Huawei module with voice capability.
As well as the standard Hexa-band internal antenna the WinPad Pro 2 is fitted with an external MCX terminal for easy connection of an external antenna providing the best of both worlds. The external antenna connection can be optionally routed to an internal GPS module depending on your requirements.
External buttons on the device provide for instant access to Up/Down/Enter/Right click plus volume and brightness control. An access cover on the right edge slides open to reveal the SD card and SIM card slots. The right edge is also home to the Kensington lock receptacle allowing you to further secure your device when desired.
Currently our best selling 10" tablet is the WinPad Pro S and we recommend you check out this product first. The differences between the WinPad Pro S and this model are that the WinPad Pro S has a rotating camera, HDMI output and accepts microSD memory cards, where as the WinPad Pro 2 has VGA output, front facing camera and accepts full size SD cards. Besides these difference the systems are very similar in specification, size and weight.
